For the Next couple of Weeks , I am going to focus on using my prime 50mm 1.8… I am getting tired of all the zooms, and want to focus more on composition, and being creative with my shots. I will be posting them in the upcoming weeks. Please let me know if you would like to schedule a photo shoot.

It has been awhile since I have posted anything online. With a busy job, a five year old, and a buys schedule makes it very hard to dedicate to taking pictures.. I have also been busy playing one of my new love , the Guitar. I have been playing for a couple of years now ,but I am really starting to sound like I know how to play.. I will be taking a lot of pictures this summer to post online.

I have been so very busy with the family and life that I have not really had a lot of time to blog or do much of anything else. I have still been taking pictures like crazy but with the lack of time and energy , I have not been doing a lot of blogging. So what is new,,,, not much other than getting back into Tennis and spending time with the family.
Well until next time keep shooting,
Seth

It has been some time sinceI have written on my blog. I have been very busy working on my photography portfolio, and a heavy work loads make very little time to blog. I have been spending most weekends at Crystal Beach , working on my tan, and taking pictures of the destruction along with my family. It is still amazing to go down to the beach and see houses misplaced, along with cars in fields still stranded. I am working on a book about the destruction, and the peoples experiences who went through the Terrible IKE Hurricane that destroyed so many lives. I will try and blog every week and let people know the status of what is going on with the beaches progress along with my book.

Fourth of July A day to Remember!!

I just want to wish everyone a wonderful and Happy Forth of July. It is truly a time to reflect , and be proud that we are Americans and not speaking like our British folk on the other side of the pond. So, light the Barbecue Pit, toast your favorite drink, and enjoy our Independence. I have had quite a few days. I moved homes and it has been crazy. I hate moving, even though we moved to a larger house ,and a room that will be dedicated as my photography studio. It didn’t diminish that fact that it really sucked ,and the weather was as hot as any summer is in Texas. I can not express to you the heat that was coming off the cement the last few days and I was in the thick of it moving boxes, and beds. So have a great July Fourth, and be safe.
Keep Shooting,
Seth

The Dog Gang

Once again I have been swamped with work, but I had my best week in the last ten months!!! I had very little time to play, but I did snap a few shots of the Gang. I really didn’t have a ton of time, so these are more snap shots than photo(composition, lighting, ect.) very off, but I wanted to put something up.. I have been looking for a new computer for the last few weeks. I am doing the big PC to Mac transfer.. It is about time, and I am very excited about the new change. I should have the new Apple in the new few weeks. So new week, I am going to focus taking pictures of people. But not just people , very candid shot of people. Try to capture a moment in time with the picture. I always shoot with the person on either the left or right, because it makes the picture more interesting. It makes the viewer look for what else is in the picture. I know I go back to the rule of thirds a lot but it really works. especially if you work with your depth of field. You can have some great shots and make people think that you know what the hell you are doing. Finally I am looking forward to going to the beach and spending some time with my family for fathers day. It should be a lot of fun, and there are always crazy and unique people at the beach to take pictures of. I look forward to hearing comminets about my writing and what I can do better. Until next time this is Seth Srader saying ” Carpe Diem”
